To make your candles last longer: the first time you burn your candle, let the melt pool reach the sides of the glass before turning it off. Before relighting the candle, trim the wick and remove any loose wick pieces. If wick is left long or uncut, it will create a big flame. With a big flame, your candle will reach a much higher temperature than it is intended to do, melting your candle at a much faster pace. You should let the wax solidify and trim the wick before relighting it.
